"Last minute booking for work. I didn't read the very clear email explaining how to check in. So turned up unprepared. Called the number on the door. A very helpful lady on the phone didn't judge my lack of planning and explained everything to me. Room was exceptionally clean. I had everything I needed. Had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was superb. Highly highly recommend. I wasn't there for the location but was just a few metres from the promenade. "

"I had a room at the rear of the property which was very quiet. Rooms are clean and spacious. Bathroom came with a lovely bath with shower over. Storage was plentiful with a wardrobe and 4 large drawers. You could hear the occupants of the adjoining room but it wasn't an issue. Parking is avaliable at the front/side and rear of the property. I have learned from experience not to park under the trees as you will return to find your car with bird droppings. I always stay here when visiting the town. The staff are all friendly, helpful and accommodating and they take an interest in what you have to say. I usually eat at least once whilst staying here and the meals are generous, tasty and, in my opinion, good value for money. "

"If you need a place in Grimsby to stay, this place is about as ideal as you could hope for. Tucked away on a side street but located within a stones throw of Grimsby town centre, its ideally located. Clean and comfortable too with a communal kitchen for all guests to use - something you don't often see! Very well priced too! There was a little hiccup with the check-in process but in fairness, it was rectified very quickly so no complaints there. Overall, a definite recommend!"
