"From the moment I checked in to the check out, I have nothing but praise for the staff at this hotel. Nice to actually have people who can engage, laugh and perform their duties professionally. Yes the room I had was maybe a bit tired, the hotel is ongoing refurbishing as we speak. The room was clean, functional and was more than adequate. Great location. Can't recommend highly enough. I look forward to returning in January. "

"Lovely spacious, comfortable, warm, quiet and clean room. Nice hotel with a pub and good facilities for weddings and conferences. Wedding venue 2 minute from room. Parking free, convenient and safe."

"Great communications and easy check in. Plenty of parking in the week in autumn. Clean, warm room. Shower took a bit to get going (had to 'trick it' by running the tap) but otherwise fine. Great breakfast, friendly host. "
