"The hallways were pretty warm. We had to turn the AC on when we got into the room. The refrigerator was unplugged, so we had to get it cool before we could use it. Only juice and coffee available. There was a discount on our room card for Pizza Ranch which we took advantage of. Staff was very nice and helpful. I would stay again."

"This is a unique property. The house is beautiful, but it was a little difficult to tell what exactly we were getting from the listing. We wound up with a room with an en-suite bathroom, which I would definitely recommend, otherwise you may be sharing a bathroom with complete strangers. We stayed here as part of RAGBRAI, so it was completely full and folks were definitely having to share a bathroom and coordinate showers. Not a huge deal, but we were happy to have our room with the bathroom. All in all, a good stay"

"Staff friendly. Room clean. Bed and pillows comfortable. Breakfast extremely simple but adequate. Juice machine did not seem to work or did not have juice in it. Not fancy at all but adequate for a 1 night stay. I would stay there again."
