"Very cute apartment over 3 floors with a small but fully stocked kitchen. Good air con on top 2 floors. Short steep walk (7 mins) to the top of motovun. You check in at a restaurant up the hill and one of the staff then takes you to the apartment. Free parking nearby. Only real negatives were the shower cubicle which was way too small and quite a few mozzies in the evening when drinking wine on the terrace…"

"Our first trip to Croatia. We stayed for a week during very hot weather. The pool and wellness facilities were excellent. The a/c in the room was great and accommodation all very comfortable. We loved the vibe in Novigrad and ate at a few of the restaurants, just a short walk from the hotel. There is also a lovely park you can walk to where there is easy access to swim in the sea. We had free parking at the hotel and had days out inPorec, umag and rovinj."

"It was our second time at Maistra Funtana. And we have already booked for next year, again. A very well organized and very good managed hotel. It should deserve at least 4*. Tasty food, clean and recently renovated rooms, a lovely pool kids pool and a nice beach with a lot of included sports offerings. "5* service, 5* facilities. 5* food. Excellent family holiday. Hotel was busy during August but managed to find space and quiet as there’s so many things to keep kids entertained - it’s not just about the pool. Rooftop pool and beautiful spa are adults only so there’s something for everyone. Even around the family pool, the layout means there’s plenty of private areas to relax. The buffet breakfast and dinner were delicious and both really varied - would happily have eaten there every night, but there is also the option of dine-around in the à la carte restaurants for added flexibility. Didn’t want to leave and wouldn’t hesitate to return in future."

"Room was spacious, had a double bed plus camp bed. Tv, balcony looked onto green space which was welcome in the heat. Bathroom was small. Breakfast buffet excellent, dinner was well presented, a good choice. Nice surprise to have received lunchtime snack. Bar light and comfy or able to sit on the veranda over looking the pool or the cove entrance in the distance. Car park was full when I arrived, but 200m away there is a large “overspill” car park so this was welcome. Staff friendly and many families. Facilities nearby include bars, restaurants and sporting facilities."
