Shower was nice. Water was hot and shower head worked great. What I didn’t like: The carpet was sticky in front of the tv. Something had been spilled and it wasn’t cleaned up.

The hotel was located in a convenient location. Front desk staff were wonderful. However, the room carpet was dirty, the bedding had an unpleasant smell and housekeeping is loud. The Hotel pictures look better than the room. Also the tub was sunk in the middle so I had to position my feet so I wouldn’t slide.

Check in and out was smooth. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly. The rooms don't have enough sound proof and hallway noise is heard in the room as well as loud talking from adjacent rooms. Otherwise room was in good condition and location was easy to access

The property was fine for a night. It qas near where I wanted to go and had fairly comfortable beds. The property is a little outdated but well maintained. The rooms have sound insulation so be prepared to hear everything around you but ear plugs did help.

Scheduled for a two night stay, and checked out after the first night and booked at another Hotel. The absolute worst mattress I have ever had in a hotel. It was concave, no back support, not padding, so uncomfortable we couldn't sleep. Sheets were over starched, stiff and scratchy. Carpet was dirty. Coffee maker in the room didn't work. The women who checked us in was very nice and friendly. The women who was there when I checked out early and nicely explained the problems, was not interested at all in what I had to say. Ask if it was possible to get a refund, she just told me I had to go through Expedia.

If the Redroof motel made a hotel, the Wingate would be it. The showers are dated in the 80s, the room didnt look anything like the description that was shown. Spend the extra $30 and go else where.

I have stayed at this location 3 times over 5 years when visiting family. The price through web offers is very reasonable. I am easy to please and my stay was fine. The conditions overall are tired, and a little beat up. The bedding was clean and comfortable. The mattress was a little less than good, but again, not terrible just old. The TV and channels are extremely limited with no premium access, no guide, and generally no tech options at all. The remote is so old it rattles and the front desk noted that they might be 30 years old and battery changes don't solve always help, but I was brought ann alternative remote that was marginally better. The area that the hotel is in seems to have trended down, as it is mostly used cars, and otherwise industrial. However, it is very convenient to main roads and access points. The most shocking part of my stay was walking into the lobby mid-day to the overwhelming odor of flatulence!!! Someone Cleary didn't see the need to step outside and the venting of the lobby was nil, as the stink was still there when I left again an hour later. A bit shocking to say the least...so, I may be shopping around for other options next time because they aren't investing in the property to maintain their 2 star standards.
