"Beautiful location and stunning building, only ourselves and the owners there on our two night stay. Lovely staff. Friendly owners. Unfortunately the room was pretty tired and bathroom needed a good overall. Old marked shower enclosure. Crumbling walls round the shower unit. Shower coming away from wall and mould round taps. "This is a multi-generational family-run property and they make you feel like family. It is just outside Piazza Amerina and a few minutes drive from the must-see Villa Romana. So much easier than trying to drive to and park at a hotel in the city. Parking is free. There is a restaurant onsite, which is also where you check in/out. The bed was comfy and the room & bathroom were spacious. Everyone from the owner & his mother to the extended family and cleaning staff treated us warmly. "

"This property is lovely and the location can’t be beat for exploring Catania. It is just a few steps from Ursino castle and a couple of blocks from the amazing fish market. The room is spacious and beautiful. But what made it truly exceptional was the amazing care and hospitality of our host, Manuela.
