Everything about this property is unique and next level. Right away the staff was great and got us acquainted with our room and gave us a small tour of the property.
Nicknamed the garden room, our room was themed after a doctor that created the modern hospital. In it, was a marvelous (and kinda creepy) life sized metal skeleton artwork. The shower area opened to a private patio where we ate the delicious included breakfast. And the highlight was the trick bed, that hid the nightstand, safe, coffee bar, refrigerator, and 55” tv.
Overall great location, amazing and friendly staff, and very good recommendations for food and our boat tour. It’s about a block from a street trolley station which took us conveniently in the two directions we always wanted to go.
Stayed in hundreds of hotels throughout the years, this is top 5 because it’s so weirdly awesome.

This is all inclusive cruise ship in a hotel format. There's plenty of wine, liquor, snacks and a full breakfast. It's equidistant from the main shopping district and from museum square. The rooms are poky, but most people don't go to Amsterdam to sleep all day in their room. While the overall cost was reasonable, there was a very wide variance between the individual nights. Probably something to be mindful of. Overall, a very good experience.
