"The island, beach and the sea is beautyful. Many many mosquitos. Only one bungalow have mosquitonet. Restaurant and room dirty, poor equipment. No facility. Pigs near restaurant. Food not edible. We have to buy own yogurt, whitsh the staf take it till morning...garbage dump neer the bungalows. Management -10 point. His not interested nothig... Pity for such a beautiful place. "

This was our 2nd trip staying at Kia Ora and opted for the overwater bungalow this time at the recommendation of another reviewer. Definitely less bugs staying in the overwater bungalow! this time, but it was a trade off as the views were better and as stated less bugs! The only thing that could make the property better in my opinion would be if the overwater...
