The property was closed for several weeks. Orbitz notified me at 10 PM MT on night of hotel. We had to get another hotel at America's Best Value at twice the cost. Very disappointed that we were not notified earlier.

Do not book this hotel! It is closed and so far Expedia and Super 8 will not refund my money! They are showing it open but is locked up and has been closed for 6 months!

This hotel was booked by myself in May. We arrived at the hotel after we were charged and received numerous emails confirming the itinerary from Expedia and the hotel has been shut down since December. No one is in the building, all the doors are locked. The number has been disconnected, the hotel across the street was the one to inform us that the hotel has been shut down. How is it that we were able to book a hotel in May that has been closed months before. I will never use Expedia again to book any type of travel experience. The customer service was slow and not understanding of the situation.

Upon arrival of this hotel at 11PM, the hotel was shut down and nobody was available to help me. Super8 did not help me either! Last time I am staying with a Super8 motel!!!!

The hotel was no longer in operation however I was still able to book this hotel. We arrived late at night after a 9 hour drive and had to attempt to find another hotel room in a city we had never been to before.

Booked an overnight stay at this Super 8 on Lacrosse Street in Rapid City SD a couple months ago. After a long drive from Minneapolis MN, we pull into the lot the evening of June 30, 2019 and see on their big sign....."Closed for the winter." Not a soul in sight. Yet Orbitz booked and confirmed our stay there just a couple months prior !!! Took about 90 minutes on several phone calls with Orbitz to get things worked out after we found another nearby location to spend the night. If you are thinking about booking this property...….DON'T !!!

Hotel not even open for business

I was charged for the room for three nights. We drive all day, show up and their sign says “closed for winter cleaning” it’s July So disappointing. It’s late, I have two small children and I need to find another place to stay
