"Room was clean, not much space between end of bed and wall. Only one chair and no space for small table. However very comfortable and excellent shower, and toilet facilities. Breakfast on 5 th floor. Plenty of tables and food choices excellent. Two lifts,one only 2person capacity, but overall stay very good. Restaurant good food choices and quality. Car parking limited outside and needs to be booked. Very convenient for access to town shops etc. Would stay again."

"Mixed review. Hotel location perfect. Room excellent apart from no air conditioning. Breakfast superb. Afternoon tea lovely. Evening meal disastrous. Nothing like the menu discrimination and a chef that thinks the customers are fools. Do not trust the restaurant in the evening. Eat anywhere else!"

"It was a very lovely stay, we loved it, hotel had an amazing vibe and good selection of food and drinks, the food was overpriced for what it was but it was still very nice. The drinks were very overpriced but its york so you have to expect that, its in a really good location close to the centre, the air-conditioning was either broken or not working correctly in our room but other than that it was an amazing time and would definitely go again."
