"This place is terrific. The views are amazing and the owners are charming. Breakfast is in an ideal setting and if you’re interested in walking/hiking one has easy access to Almalfi and Minori. Locating the B&B was confusing the first time since the numbers go up and down going down the path. One should also be aware that one has to go down a lot of steps so if you have heavy bags this will be difficult."

"It's a bit tricky to find but once you do, you're in for a treat. The suite was large with breathtaking views and it's not in the hustle bustle part of the city. You can still easily walk to shopping and beaches. We loved the suite and the staff and included breakfast were amazing."

"We have just arrived home from an amazing stay in Praiano. We stayed in La Barbera B & B. We having nothing but positive words to say about this place! From the moment we arrived, we were met by two wonderful staff members. Sylvia was a delight. So very friendly, approachable, knowledgeable about the area and offered great advice and recommendations. Our room was beautiful with the most amazing views over the coastline. "This hotel is beautiful and wonderfully updated and maintained. The morning breakfast is divine and the staff is over and above kind and attentive. The location is great, but you do need to have porters bring your luggage from wherever you get dropped off because the passage ways in Positano are crowded. We LOVED our stay here!"
"A Magical Stay on the Amalfi Coast!
Hotel Villa Fraulo in Ravello exceeded all expectations. The views from our balcony suite are simply breathtaking — the panoramic vistas over the Tyrrhenian Sea and the coastline are unlike anything I've ever seen. Waking up to that scenery every morning for four nights was an experience I'll never forget.
The suite itself was incredibly spacious — well-appointed, elegant, and with the tower balcony adding a truly special touch. It felt like a private retreat high above the world.
Ravello is the perfect base for exploring the Amalfi Coast, and Villa Fraulo's location on Via San Giovanni del Toro puts you right in the heart of this stunning clifftop village. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a romantic, luxurious stay on the coast."

"This hotel is one of the finest properties at which I've stayed in the entire world. I've traveled to many countries and experienced some great hotels, but this is my favorite. The location is as ideal as one could imagine. It came under new ownership two years ago and they must have spent tens of millions on the renovation. The hotel is immaculate. Stunningly gorgeous with a view you'll remember for all your days. The rooms are beautiful - white, blue and green with fabulous beds. The bar looks like it is a refreshed version of a bygone era in all its opulence and charm. The food was very good. Every meal is well executed and the staff are at the ready to make sure you have an amazing stay. Superior cocktails and spritzes and a small but impressive wine list filled with local gems. A couple of people to call out in particular include Giancarlo who welcomed us with warmth and a great tour of the property while our room was being readied. He made us feel welcome from the Sergio the maitre d' is a joy to be around and a true professional. He makes the experience better with his charm and kindness. He elevates the staff and is a highlight of any dinner looking out on the sea. The restaurant staff are excellent as is the barman. It is an expensive part of the world, but when you're at the Europa Palace, you feel like you're getting service and an experience that meets or exceeds the price."
If you're looking for something a little more offbeat than the traditional hotel experience, a stay at a bed and breakfast could be a great option for your getaway. If you're hoping to spend some time walking along the water in Ravello, Castiglione Beach is worth a visit.
