We recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally positive experience, with a few things worth noting depending on your preferences. The property is located in an emerging area that initially feels a bit industrial, but we quickly felt that it was safe and conveniently situated. It's within easy walking distance to both the ferry (free) and metro, which made getting around easy. There were also several good restaurants nearby, which added to the overall convenience. One of the standout features was the staff - consistently friendly, welcoming and helpful. The all-day breakfast offering was a great touch. The hotel itself is clean, with high-tech check-in and room access that made the stay feel seamless and efficient. The room, however, was a bit unexpected. While the bathroom was quite spacious and well-designed, the bedroom area was noticeably COMPACT - just large enough to accommodate a queen-sized bed. That said, the room was thoughtfully laid out with good lighting and practical storage solutions, including under-bed space for luggage, which helped. Overall, this was a solid choice given that we were in Amsterdam during the popular Tulip Festival and most rooms had doubled in price. After we got over the 'initial shock' we were very happy with the choice.

The rooms and hallways were thick with Marijuana smoke from a nearby "coffee house"(pot store and smoking spot). We had to change into a smaller room away from the smoke as it was intolerable in the initial room. It is a shame that this obtrusive and disgusting odor permeates and ruins a beautiful hotel.

We loved everything about this hotel. The location is perfect for walking everywhere in Amsterdam, it’s immaculately clean and the staff are just wonderful!

Very weird setup in the room. The shower and toilet were in separate rooms with the sinks in the living area. The lighting is very poor especially around the mirrors. The towels were thin and scratchy. There no drawers to put our clothing for our extended stay. There was no ramp to wheel up the suitcases at the main entrance way. Not what I would expect in a 4 star hotel!

An excellent property, most helpful staff and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Was an outstanding stay and would highly recommend this hotel!!!
