"The breakfast was typical: sausages, scrambled eggs, pancakes. There was nothing wrong with it, nor was it outstanding. Staff was cordial, but did not go out their way to be friendly. The room itself was fine - clean and reasonably comfortable, but definitely showing its age. For an overnight business trip, I would stay again for the location and price. For anything more, I would probably look elsewhere."

"The breakfast was great. There were many options and the food was hot and fresh. Loved the fruit salad and the super fresh bagels. My other half loved the omelets and sausages. There's tea and coffee available in the lobby at all hours, with a huge selection of teas. The room was pet friendly and they tend to be a little more worn than other rooms. This was the case, things seemed a little dated and worn out. We were so glad that our dog was welcome, but the hotel seemed more pet-tolerant than pet-friendly compared to other places we've stayed. One issue was that we couldn't enjoy the gym or hot tub together because we couldn't leave our dog unattended in the room. That was a bit inconvenient but not unreasonable. Most hotels don't want dogs left unattended so this wasn't unusual or unexpected. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We'd stay there again. "

"Dont stay here. The rooms are not clean. Avoid Motel 6 Red Deer — seriously. We had to switch rooms three times, and each one was worse than the last. Room 1: My puppy jumped on the bed with something in his mouth… it was a blood-covered Kleenex. Absolutely disgusting. Room 2: There was a white, creamy-looking substance on the floor between the bed and the window wall. Room 3: My puppy’s next “find”? A half-used bottle of lubricant. This isn’t just poor housekeeping — it’s a basic failure of cleanliness and hygiene. It genuinely makes you question whether these rooms are cleaned at all."
