"Very quiet location. Room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I would have added is a chair and desk, maybe instead of the chest of drawers which I never use. Check-in was quick and easy and our request for downstairs rooms was honored."

"โ โ โ โ โ An absolute slice of old-school redwood magic We had an incredible stay at Redwoods River Resortโeverything about it was simply amazing. The location is completely unbeatable, offering that classic, old-school campground vibe nestled right in the heart of the majestic redwoods. We stayed in one of the lodge rooms, and it was super clean, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The staff across the board were wonderful and went out of their way to be great hosts. A major highlight of the trip was the on-site pub. It's easily the best feature of the resort, with delicious food and an incredible atmosphere. Even better, the pub staff were exceptionally accommodating with dietary preferences, easily navigating both gluten-free and vegetarian options. If you're looking for the ultimate authentic redwood getaway with fantastic amenities and great food, this is the place. We can't wait to come back!"

"Plenty of parking. We arrived later than expected and woke the shop owner so that maybe why there was no welcome or small talk. Just pushed the paper to sign through the little window and handed me the key. The place was quiet until early in the morning when the Mexican laborers were continually pounding on the next-door. Trying to wake up one of their buddies. He was either in the bathroom or sound asleep, after that we were all awake. I do realize that has nothing to do with the property or the property owner. Itโs just what happens at lower end hotels. I would stay again, it was clean, seriously outdated, but comfortable and parked right outside my door 4 not a lot of money."

"Itโs an old hotel expect it to be that, but it was clean. I read the reviews so I was expecting it to be old so I was not disappointed. It is a Beautiful hotel with a nice European History. Our room smelled like old cigarettes and old people. My husband had to get the spider and his web off of the ceilingโฆIt was dark even in the day time. We heard a door close very loudly early in the morning and at night. It was Very Loud! Itโs a well preserved place but itโs over due for a complete remodel of the room 110. I only know it this room. Itโs one the best rooms and only two of them. It just smelled so bad I had to use my deodorant as an air freshener. I got home and was charged for room a second time and it was less than what I had originally paid through Expedia. So what is the real price? Our were we gouged on-line? We were there for the Raggae Festival. We paid more booking it on-line and in advance. We were offered a buffet that was being offered due to the event but I think it was expensive for what they offered $65.00 for two for the basics, no smoked salmon, shrimp or mimosas. I am still trying to figure out the resort fees and what makes it a resort? Would I go again? It depends. They have an EV charger which had we known we would have driven our EV they donโt mention it online. We definitely appreciated the shuttle that picked us up and took us to the event although the hotel had no knowledge of it when we called and inquired about it."
