Car parking was unclear - there was clearly car parking at the hotel as we saw it in use but were advised we had to park on the street. "Perfect start to our our holiday in France. Minutes away from the Shuttle and the amenities in Calais. After driving down from Manchester it was the perfect place to spend the night prior to driving down to the South of France. The breakfast is a fantastic start to the day, fresh croissants, pain au chocolate, baguette, cheese and cold meat as well as fruit juice, yoghurt and cakes (Madeleins). Beds very comfortable for a good night's sleep. "

"We had the misfortune to stay on the most uncomfortable night during the recent heatwave. The hotel did not have any proper air conditioning - simply a plug in unit that was not adequate to comba t what were admittedly rare extremes of heat. Consequently we had very little sleep in the very comfortable bed. The breakfast was good but our lasting memory will surely be the hostess, who greeted us and looked after us throughout our stay - from helping to carry our luggage, caring for my friend with mobility issues, and generally being a perfect hostess. She is a credit to the establishment and deserves this recommendation. "
