"This was even better than I could have imagined! Beautiful apartment, so modern and updated. Everything in town was walkable. Great conversations with the host to understand some tourist benefits better. Tried the German train system some before our planned train trip the following week, made us more comfortable and saved us so much time on a Sunday excursion we would have otherwise driven to. So many restaurants, cafes, and pubs nearby as well as a the wine fest we based our trip around. Our in...

"The room was beautifully clean, staff lovely.Breakfast good and a very fair price. You can relax here, doesn't seem a lot of pressure to be moving all the time.Really quiet and slept very well."
"The location was very convenient, just a short walk from the bus stop (which is where the supermarkets are located). Luckily there was an elevator available although there are a few steps to go up in order to get to the reception desk.
The room was clean, they did have carpet, but I had brought slippers not knowing if this was something provided in Germany. The bed was comfortable and the room temperature was kept very comfortable. There wasn't heat turned on and the breeze from the outside made it very pleasant. The room was perfect for 1 person although it would also be fine for 2. The bathroom is a good size, not too big or small, but I am also a small person so that's that.
The breakfast spread was reasonable and typical of the region, bread, cereal, cut fruit, yogurt, deli meats, cheese, eggs, and luckily for me, some lightly sauteed vegetables as well.
It is also quite centrally located at least for me, as I'm used to walking and everything was easily walkable distance. Overall one of the more comfortable stays during my exploration of the Mosel region. "
"Great value for money. Of course the bathroom is small and the room is basic.
Staff were friendly, quick check in and check out!
A/C not great but did cool rhe room eventually! "
"Great location. Very beautiful and comfortable. Offered discount for parking and had a place to store our bicycles overnight. The room was spacious and had good amenities. It is old so the floors squeaked in some places. The rainfall shower head was leaky and in need of replacement, but did not interfere with showering. Best of all was a small fridge and a fan. Would highly recommend!"
"Fabulous from start to finish! Welcome drink on arrival, early access to our room which was in the cottage, we ate in the restaurant, the food was very good, staff very attentive and lovely wines. Swimming pool was great and the sauna. Great location and will definitely stay again."
"Just back from a visit to Idar-Oberstein. Parking was easy, I arrived after 10pm so reception was closed but a staff member was able to quickly get me checked in. Room was perfect for my stay.
Hotel is close to the Felsenkirche and castles. The Norma shop is 2 minutes walk away and there are several places to eat in the square."
