The room was so clean, staff was always nice and accommodating. Hotel location was very walkable to everything we needed/ wanted in the area.

Overall we had an excellent stay at The Caledonian. The staff were outstanding, the food was delicious, the room was super clean and spacious and the facilities were great (the swimming pool and steam/sauna). Our room was ready late but we were afforded some financial compensation which was very thoughtful. The only very minor issues were the room (particularly the bathroom) was not particularly hot due to the original single glazed windows. Also, my wife would have preferred a warmer duvet, however I was happy with the provided one. Also, there was no meat sausage for breakfast on our first day but there were some on the second day. However, we would absolutely highly recommend The Caledonian hotel and we would definitely stay again. It was our anniversary and we were treated very well.

The room was very clean and included all amenities needed. The room is “snug” but again all I needed for a one night stay for one. It’s a shame someone prior had damaged the carpet. The property is in an excellent location. Access worked perfectly. All in all I would recommend :-)

Lovely hotel. Nice room. Good breakfasts. Appreciated the friendly, helpful staff, in particular David at front door. Definitely recommend this hotel. Have stayed here several times. Will be back.

The receptionist Helen was really nice and professional.
