"The Avli Lounge apartments are beautiful! We stayed in the Candy Suite for about four days. As mentioned in several reviews, location is excellent, and we were able to walk everywhere. Both Stelios' and Nickos were always available and helpful for everything. Do note that there is no elevator as the hotel is in Old Town and they preserve the structures. That also means you have cobblestone streets which still require effort for even the smoothest luggage. The suite we were in was on the 3rd floor and I overpacked as usual. The guys were wonderful in assisting us up with all our stuff. Would love to revisit Crete and stay at the Avli again!"

"This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Rimondi Boutique Hotel and it was as perfect as the first time. The customer service is excellent and Room 7 was excellent as it was spread over two floors with a balcony overlooking the street and additional outside sunbathing area which wasn’t overlooked. Although situated in the old town and very close to the restaurants and shops, you do not get any noise disruption - in fact it’s an ideal place in an ideal position."

"We enjoyed this hotel immensely and highly recommend it! This hotel has a wonderful breakfast with a wide selection of food options to suit everyone's tastes and with a beautiful view of the beachfront. Free parking was across the hotel entrance with a huge area to park. We did daily day trips to explore Crete, and there were always parking spots available when we returned at the end of the day. We chose this hotel due to the beautiful views from the balconies, the cleanliness, and the parking. We easily would walk for a leisurely walk into Old Town in 15 minutes. Even taking a taxi was very cheap which we did on way back one evening. The rooms were modern, clean and towels changed every day. The front desk staff were so polite and catered to all of our needs. The owner Mr, Stelios also greeted us and took us to our rooms and explained how the air conditioner worked, where all the amenities were. We enjoyed seeing him everyday! Their pool is amazing, and the pool deck with a beautiful beachfront view had an amazing bar for drinks and food. The bar person is very nice and works hard getting drinks and food ready for your order. Loved the pool area with the sun loungers and perfect views! This hotel will not disappoint at all. We had our two sons and their girlfriends with us, so we had 3 rooms in total and everybody enjoyed Archipelogos hotel. We surely would stay here when we go back to Rethymnon. We had an awesome stay! "Amazing experience overall. Great check in, great room, great space for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Cold bottle of wine, fruit and water in the fridge and amazing breakfast. Staff also supper friendly. One of the best bookings I’ve made on hotels.com for my family (who tend to be picky) "
