Accommodations were excellent with a perfect location! The apartment was clean, well stocked (salt, coffee, laundry detergent, etc.), high end finishes, very comfortable bed and pull out couch, and quality toiletries. We did not get an e-mail ahead of time for check-in but our host was there upon arrival and was very communicative through messaging. Thank you for a perfect stay!

Wonderful place, super clean, great hosts!

A wonderful basement apartment. The hosts were very communicative and the place was absolutely amazing. Gorgeous bathroom with a really luxurious shower. We stayed the night before flying out and really enjoyed the convenience and the hosts. 10/10!!!

The apartment was perfect for our honeymoon. Quiet and away from the city was just what we were looking for. Close enough to get to Reykjavik and other attractions when we wanted. Family trip

Owner of property was fantastic and gave us a quick tour of the property was very accommodating and even provided a special treat and waters in the fridge. It was very close to the airport which made it very convenient with food options close by. We love that. It had a dedicated parking space as well. Would definitely stay there again!

Great place and would consider this more luxurious than what we usually get with travelling. Good location, close to the airport (10 minute drive), and also nice walkable to the downtown and harbour. The only thing that I think can be improved is the check in. We prefer self serve and only interaction with the host if needed. The host communicated that we need to phone them for check in. Since we were using Saily data plans, we did not have a dialable phone number for taking and making calls while in Iceland. We tend to use apps and data while we travel and not the phone network. In any case, in order to be able to call the host, I had to activate my Canadian SIM, and I suspect I will get roaming charges. It was not clear to me why I had to call the host if the only thing they gave me was the lockbox code. If I had known that, we would have planned our travel day differently - I thought the reason for meeting was to get the keys physically. We could have spent the day exploring the coast at our own schedule, instead of trying to meet at the designated time. Similarly the host dropped by later enquiring what time we plan to check out. This is also something I think can be done through the app. Generally when I travel, I want to keep the friction and coordination points as little. Generally if an app is available for asynchronous communication, I want to use that. If I don’t need to make arrangements to meet, I prefer that.

Wonderful Stay!!

We had a wonderful stay here! The house is modern, beautiful and absolutely cozy!! The host was very communicative and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Always answering questions on phone, kept a few chocolates for us at home, even arranged taxi when we had to get something from the airport! Would absolutely recommend and wouldnt think twice of staying somewhere else the next time Im in town!

We arrived very late, 1-1:30am. Elli waited for us that late and greeted us at the apartment. The apartment is very nice and comes with quality amenities. Both the bed and sofa bed are very comfortable. Very convenient from the airport. Good location for early departure or late arrival.

Perfect Spot near the Airport

We LOVED our stay here. Communication was excellent. Everything was neat and clean. The bed was the most comfortable nights sleep in Iceland. It was so hard to wake up for our early flight the next morning. Speaking of the airport, so close!! 5 or so minutes! So convenient. It was exactly what we needed at the end of the trip. It’s a gorgeous comfortable space. We will definitely come back.

The apartment is so nice and is very luxurious. Our host was amazing. He made sure that housekeeping was done daily, made sure we knew how to use everything. Being from America with different weather and driving conditions, he checked to see if we were safe when we left to go venture off overnight. The first sign of snow, he gave us a call. Such an amazing host who definitely catered to the things we needed or had questions on.
