The location was great, right in the middle of the promenade. Parking was tricky but if you can remember to park in the P2 zone where it’s cheaper by the hour and free overnight. We found a spot two streets over. The room was great and exactly how it was described.

Clean hotel and optimal location to the downtown area. Adjacent to a lot of shops as well as a grocery store to buy snacks and groceries. Will definitely come back to this hotel in the future!

Centrally located boutique hotel on the main Laugavegur road in the heart of Reykjavik. The staff are friendly and we received a free upgrade of our room. Overall the room was spacious, clean, and modern finishes. Some parts of the building and furniture are a bit worn, and the room we were in was not especially soundproof - even on the quieter side of the building. Many attractions were within walking distance and the hotel is also closely located to bus stop 9 if you want to book a flybus transfer to the airport.

The room was clean, and the bathroom was particularly nice. The hotel is fairly standard overall, but its location in the heart of Reykjavík is very convenient and makes it easy to explore the city on foot. Our main concerns were the mattress, pillows, and the service. Both the mattress and pillows felt quite outdated and were not particularly comfortable, which was disappointing given the price we paid. The staff also came across as noticeably cold and, at times, bordering on rude. A warmer and more welcoming approach would have made a significant difference to the overall experience. Overall, the location is a definite plus, and the room was clean and well maintained, but for the price, we expected a more comfortable stay and friendlier service.
