Very good hotel in a fabulous location. It was clean and staff were friendly. The pool area was extremely busy, however that wasn’t an issue because you are on the beach.

I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel. I booked their Single Room, which turns out to be a type of room hidden from all hotel visuals because it is a nightmare. Everything was falling apart – there was a big hole in the closet, the shower curtains were stained, the window was up above facing two buildings' air-conditioners. Everything in the room was old – not vintage, broken, faded, falling apart old. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the towels were old and gray. There was nothing but a kettle and a cup in the room (no tea, no coffee, no water). The hallway to this room was dark, smelly, and dressed in a stained carpet. The worst thing about this is that nowhere (not on the hotel's website or social media or on Expedia or other platforms), there was a hint of this hidden room type. I wanted to change my room but I was told that there were no rooms available. After very persistent complaints to the reception and to Expedia (thank you Expedia!), I was informed that there was a cancellation. I was then given another room – which I think is also not on the website. It is a small room with a small sliding door/window facing another building. But, it was beautifully renovated, with a new bed, fluffy towels, and a welcoming tray of coffee, tea, and snacks. The hallway was still ugly with old furniture and carpet but no smell. The hotel has a mediocre buffet breakfast. Its location is quite convenient.

Fique em outro lugar!

Toalhas péssimas, café da manhã fraco. Mas o pior mesmo foi o staff, que não sabia dar informações básicas (i.e. qual o preço do táxi até o aeroporto) e era pouquissimo profissional. Para completar, logo, ea experiencia de check out foi pessima, pois em torno das onze (check out era meio dia) começaram a bater na porta insistentemente a cada cinco minutos, mesmo após terem entrado de forma não solicitada e apesar de eu ter dito que ainda estava ocupando o quarto (na verdade gritando de volta, já que batiam tão alto na porta que se não gritasse não escutariam). A localizacao nao é das melhores, pois fica na ponta da cidade nova, sem ser perto de nada de interesse, mas como a cidade é super compacta isso nao causou grande impacto. Enfim, o hotel foi reformado, a estrutura é ok(piscina fecha as seis da tarde e colocam cordas em volta para impedir uso) mas é só para fotos. Na realidade há mais seria um quatro estrelas.

Recent stay

A great place to stay if you are visiting Rhodes Town. We had a deluxe sea view room and were very pleased with it. Very close to "Bar Street" if you like that sort of thing. We used the Red Lion quite often and had some good entertainment from the Swedish/Dutch and Norwegian youngsters. Hotel is on the "windy beach" side but the wind is very welcome in the heat of the day.

Great convenient location

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, we had 4 rooms. The place was great, the breakfast buffet was enormous! It was right across the road from the beach. We didn't use the pool, it opened after we were out sight seeing and closed too early (sadly). Convient to everything.

Hotel good location, close to beach.

the hotel had a lovely pool area and reception area however when we were shown to our room we were so disappointed. Although it was clean it was very dated and very basic. Considering it is classed as a 4 star hotel we did not have the facilities we have had in previous hotels we have stayed in. No wifi , no kettle no iron 50 euros extra to use safe. These are things we have had in other 4stars without having to upgrade. The bathroom was very small and very dated
