"Superior room was excellent, welcoming and well presented on arrival. The guests living room was a great place to spend a cosy evening in front of the wood burning stove. Breakfast was excellent, fresh produce and good choice, and the fresh eggs were memorable. The electric charge point was a bonus.

"Quite near to the centre, very clean room, #9 me & daughter stayed in, room with it's own courtyard, although I didn't use the courtyard much, it's a very nice touch to the property.
Great stay all in all."

"One of the coolest hotel in liverpool that should be part of your holiday- the staff was so amazing, friendly make you so welcome… awesome experience"
"Booked because of the history of the Beatles when we were coming to Liverpool to see Paul Simon.
Great decision, relaxing in the bar to great music, (not all Beatles) with very friendly staff, clean room and a great night sleep followed by welcoming breakfast.
One small point is when returning to hotel after the gig all bars were shut, staff accommodated us in bringing drinks to reception for us and a few others, but the amount of people who came back, tried the bar and went straight to their rooms meant a loss of business and maybe a few disappointed patrons."
"The hotel was very central for what we needed. Although the staff were polite there was no other interaction.
Even though I checked in online I still waited 19-15 minutes to get the key. When I mentioned I had added breakfast on and needed to pay for it as the room was pre-paid. He had no idea!. Then looked and apparently found the note.
We asked for another bulb for the lamp in the room and was asked whether we tried all the other sockets first. Yes we had and then tried the bulb on the other lamp which worked. It was clearly the bulb. Maybe because we were two girls he thought were couldn’t work that out.
The hotel definitely needs updating. A lot of peeling paint in the room and bathroom.
Breakfast was lovely. Lots of choice.

"From the moment I arrived, The Resident Liverpool impressed on every level. Check-in was quick and seamless, and the personalised card and message waiting was a lovely touch that instantly made me feel like a valued guest rather than just another booking. Every member of staff was warm, helpful, and genuinely friendly throughout.
The location is hard to beat. Bold Street and Renshaw Street for restaurants are a five-minute walk, St John's Street for shopping is equally close, and the Albert Dock is an easy 10–15 minute stroll. Bars and pubs are right on the doorstep.
The room was spacious with generous wardrobe space, a compact kitchen unit with fridge, microwave and sink, plus a coffee machine and kettle — great to have even if you don't use it every day. The bathroom came stocked with Molton Brown toiletries, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was pleasantly quiet for a city-centre location. Molton Brown toiletries were a nice touch that reflects the hotel's attention to quality throughout.
For everything you get — the space, the amenities, and the standard of service — it represents great value. I'd recommend it without hesitation and will absolutely be returning."
