"We had a wonderful 10 night stay at Quinta dos Bravos. The property amidst the gardens is so beautiful, with great care taken for every detail. The rooms are spotless. The breakfasts are nice with homemade cakes. On our last night, we had the loveliest dinner onsite made by Irena, which was a highlight. Paulo, Irena and their staff were attentive, kind and gracious. We look forward to returning and highly recommend staying here!"

"I don't want to over hype this place because I want it to be available for my next trip. This hotel is a former dept store so you've got very high ceilings and giant windows. The windows have wooden panels that secure over the windows ensuring total silence and darkness when you want to sleep. Good locks, great location, great staff. Make sure you visit the Greek restaurant across the street "

"We had an extremely pleasant stay at Herdades do Ananas. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was exceptionally great. I would recommend having dinner on the property for at least one of your evenings here. The food was better than any of our other meals on the island. The staff spoke English and everyone was very friendly and helpful. I have to give special thanks to Edgar, who served our breakfasts and gave us a tour of the property-with an explanation of how they grow...

"Great apartment! I appreciated the great communication from my host, Nuno - he provided all the necessary instructions prior to my visit & also made sure I was comfortable when I arrived. They used self - check in & check out with all instructions clearly explained - all went fine !! The apartment was perfect for a short or long stay - great amenities- all kitchen utensils/appliances & full size propane bbq. The weather was cool so I was not able to use the outdoor pool but in the summer...
