"Late check in at the end of a long day. The lone desk staff was struggling to check the couple ahead of us in. She couldn’t get the software to accept the couple’s payment info. Waited over 30 min to complete a transaction that should have taken 10 min. I can’t imagine my experience is typical, but it was frustrating. Everything else met or exceeded our expectations. "

"The staff were very friendly, and the room was spacious. However, housekeeping needs improvement. The shampoo, conditioner, and bath gel were almost empty. On the first night, I even broke a fingernail trying to squeeze out the last of the shower gel. I don’t believe the floors were mopped at all. I didn’t wear shoes in the room and instead bought a clean pair of slippers to use indoors. By the time I left, the bottoms of my slippers were completely dusty. Because of the dirty floors and lack of properly refilled amenities, I can only give this stay an average rating"

"nothing captivating to share. i was a bit bothered that when checking in, i asked the gentleman if i can have a late check out (noon) and he said yes, i will put it down on here for you. then as i am getting ready to leave the room prior to checking out, the front desk lady calls stating "it is 1140 and check out was at 11. do you plan on extending your stay?) i said no, i spoke with the gentleman last night and he said noon was okay. "

"When we checked in, our room was ADA accessible and the bed was extremely low. My husband is 6 feet tall so it just wasn’t going to work. The associate we discussed it with said it was Expedia that booked an ADA room for us. He gave a long explanation as to why it wasn’t the hotel’s fault and was hesitant to switch our room. We eventually were able to arrange a room change, but the exchange left a bad taste in my mouth. In our new room, housekeeping forgot some of the bedding so my husband woke up several times because he felt the coils in the mattress and was generally uncomfortable. The room was spacious and looked updated. The room and bathroom had motion sensor lights with no way of disabling them. This could be a positive for some, but I found it frustrating. Waking up in the night to use the restroom caused the lights to turn on, which impacted our rest. The room was clean, but there was evidence of water damage throughout the room and bathroom. Additionally, I went out for a small walk and I slipped in the lobby. Thankfully, I caught myself, but I almost landed hard. I noticed afterwards that there was water leaking from the ceiling. It was a mess and VERY dangerous. I think the hotel may be in need of maintenance. We discussed our concerns with customer service and they were very validating and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was amazing. It is far and away the best we have ever had at a hotel. The dining area was massive, which allowed ample room for all"
