At first I liked the room but the next day I got up to have breakfast and it was a big disappointment, I made the reservation precisely because it said there was breakfast but what I saw couldn't be said to be breakfast, I had to leave today to have breakfast outside.

It was a bed and only a bed. Safe place but run down. Did not look like the pictures. Room has ant infestation possibly more. Breakfast is cereal and toast items. Electrical is probably not up to code. Next time I'll spend the extra money.

The fire sprinkler was taped to the ceiling. The screen was tapped to the window. There was a dead mouse in a trap right next to the bed. The photo is not in the hotel at all it is of the bar next door.

Was looking for a cheap place to stay for one night and booked this hotel. Glad I did! Super nice for a Days Inn. Quiet and peaceful. Room was huge and had a full kitchen. Can’t believe it was such a great price near the train station. Would stay again!

Perfectly respectable little place
I booked 2 rooms at this motel for New Year’s Eve so we would not have to drive home from our event on the same road. Then I read awful reviews and was so worried I went there at 3pm to see what I could do to make the rooms better. To my delight, the rooms were perfectly fine. Perfectly clean. Perfectly comfy. Everything worked. There was coffee/supplies and toiletries. Ample clean towels, hot water, working plumbing. Safe area. It’s an older place but priced accordingly. As with most motels and even many nice hotels, blankets are sparse, so bring extras if you can.

Door to outside would not lock. Woke up at 6 AM to a mouse eating through the bag of coffee left on top of the mini fridge. Would not stay here again. Staff / manager was nice enough though

There was a mistake in the booking and the hotel had me arriving on the 15th and leaving today. I am arriving today and leaving on the 17th. I have booked at another hotel in the meantime. The proprietor of the Wyndham refuse to change this and hung up on me. If there have been any charges to my credit card I will instruct to stop payment. I will also raise this issue with Wyndham Hotels.

I didn’t like anything about this hotel. There was mold and mucky old dust on radiator, wall and even the iron rack . Everything about the room needed updating and refreshing. Wall paper was curling at ends. Sitting furniture was funky and stained. A miracle the bed was the only thing that appeared to be clean. Advertised as having breakfast and there were a few slices of white bread, dry bagels, and cereal in an old dispenser. Who knows how stale that was! One might think, well what do you expect for a Days Inn and a total of $149? Not a bad price. However, located in Ridgefield, CT., yes expected more. Not expecting fancy, just a clean room. Sometimes it’s hit or miss. This was a miss!!

The property needs major upkeep. Potholes in parking lot, light bulbs out, broken door lock, shades falling off windows. Only one coat hanger in the room. The refrigerator in the room was set as a freezer and thermostat taped over. BR sink drained very slowly. Desperately needs a new shower head. Not much available in the breakfast room (which closes at 9:30). But the bed was comfortable.

Limited breakfast, coffee awful. Hair Dryer (2) didnt work, couldnt dry hair. No hot water for a shower tepid water only. I will avoid Days Inn in the future.

Doors didn’t close. Paint/plaster was peeling off ceiling. Toilet seat was loose. Toilet seat hit tp roll upon opening and closing. Noise from highway was excessive. Breakfast was choice of mini bagel or bread. Think there were a couple of apples there as well. Coffee was extremely weak. I won’t stay there again.

Overall this was great and fine for staying. Beds are super comfortable. Bathroom walls and doors are filthy and all need to be wiped down. Ceilings all have signs of either mold or leaks in walls and need to be repainted. Run down motel but we would definitely stay again. Onsite restaurant/bar is great.

My daughter and I stopped for a single night on a trip home from New York City. The room was absolutely disgusting. It looked like the only thing that had been cleaned recently was the bedding because you could smell the bleach. Other than that, floors were dirty, bathroom looked like it hadn’t been scrubbed in years, and everything was in general disrepair.

Had a 6 hour car ride from Delaware and got there early. Three cars in the parking lot. Was told check in at 3:00pm to come back. The lobby was miniscule. Looking at the doors of the rooms (everything was outside) it looked terrible. There was a housekeeping cart outside and the linens looked dingy and grey. Found another hotel in the area that was beautiful and we never checked in. Would not recommend just by looking at the outside, which was a disgrace in such a beautiful town.

Filthy and disgusting doesnt even begin to describe this place. If it were not for the fact that we were so far from home, everywhere else was booked and couldnt get our money back, I would have slept in my vehicle. Thank god i happen to have clorox wipes and blankets in the car. Considering calling the health department for sure.

Is this really a hotel? It seems like a long term living situation. The rooms were disgusting. The entire facility was strange. The room next to ours had loud music coming from it, literally vibrating the wall between us. The manager couldn't get in because the master key didn't work so he had to call the police. We left and requested a refund. Our sister also booked a room and the room had no padlock.

We arrived and didnt have the correct type of room for the information I submitted through expedia... they did change the room but water was cold so they gave us a different room " no extra charge" charged $70-80 per night extra... love the equadiorian restaurant available.
