"We were booked to stay for 3 days the staff were polite and friendly but our experience wasn't great to be honest the place looks tired and rundown they shut the bar early the 1st night we arrived due to lack of customers we were told ....we also had no idea it was being used for accommodating people who looked like asylum seekers ...there were possessions stacked outside the stairs to our accomodation and people loading vans for most of the time we stayed including in the middle of the night...
"Great studio style room with space to sit and dine. Excellent kitchen facilities for a longer stay if needed. Fabulous breakfast delivered with warm and fresh bread and pastries as well as fruit, yoghurt, ham, cheese and condiments. Really well done."
"Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful
We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!!
If I have any criticism of the room, a little use of bleach would have gone a long way but please don’t let that put you off. The place is very very good. This is our second time staying and it definitely won’t be...
"Don’t be fooled by the ambience of the outside of the hotel and the long drive.
Once inside very shabby rundown bedrooms, no consideration for disabled people. The breakfast room full of cob webs and broken furniture in the conservatory. A few things not available on the breakfast menu, in spite of saying it did. Boiled eggs, not an egg cup in kitchen!!!!!
Residents queuing at 9.30, 2 pieces of ham and 2 pieces of cheese, nothing replenished. Total shambles, from reviews , it seems to be the...
"It’s a steal location for nature lovers, tree huggers and general lovers of good service. The rooms are excellently laid out and have a super selection of drinks, hot chocolate, tea, coffees.
The Bathrooms look and feel modern and have a high standard of fixtures and fittings.
Very hard to find fault with this venue as Lucy and all the staff without exception go out of their way to please and accommodate your stay without being intrusive or overbearing.
The drive from the main road is very...
