Rio Grande Nature Center State Park

Autumn in Albuquerque, NM, and the changing colors during October.

The Nature Center has a walking, jogging, biking trail that extends from one end of Albuquerque to another along the Rio Grande river. Great walk, ride, hike at any time of the year but especially during the fall.

On my morning walk I came upon this beautiful porcupine just south of the nature center. I startled him and watched as he backed down the tree trunk and scurried into the brush.
