"The owner wants something for nothing. Basic accommodation is fine, but when the window is boarded up so no natural light, toilet doesn’t flush without messing with pipes and a bucket, a/c lets a load of hot air in, a bad leak inside the room, and worst of all owner lied in property description about having Wi-Fi meaning an expensive 3 hour round trip to get a SIM card and enough data to keep connected to my family and do online work. "This was our second visit. Our first visit in February 2022 we stayed in what was basically a re-purposed shipping container which they refer to it as rancheria. This time we stayed in a bungalow. These are newer structures with a very attractive layout. There is a sliding glass door in front with a hammock set up, there is also an open air shower which I had never experienced before.
