"Nice, clean location right near the water in Rio. Was very nice opening the window and seeing the beautiful scenery. Lots of stairs to reach the room. By the photos on booking site, I expected a small balcony but our room did not have one. Parking was a plus (additional fee) but was a bit of a walk (mostly uphill) to reach accommodations which was challenging in the August heat with luggage. They do offer an optional service to transport luggage which we wish we purchased in hindsight. Checkout was in an adjacent building with more stairs to reach office. A/C wasnโ€™t very powerful and we found the property to be warm and muggy, which has been our experience in most of our accommodations in Italy but wanted to note if A/C is important to you."

"The hotel was gorgeous- the staff was amazing, the location was perfect. There was one flaw. The WiFi was horrible on every floor except the lobby - it was constantly dropping and since cell signal in the area was bad we would have trouble utilizing the internet to find restaurants, buy tickets etcโ€ฆ. I am sure they will get the WiFi fixed and those hotel will be great. Even with the WiFi issues, I highly recommend it."

"The hotel lobby vibe is very energetic and positive. The staffs are amazing and helpful. My room is on the first floor with no lift access and they help us to bring up to our room and carry it down for check out. I had an injury of my wrist and needed ice compression and they were very kind to give me the ice pack for free. However, room is slightly cramped for 2 30โ€ luggages"

"Great stay! There is no front desk or person working onsite, however you will message the operator via WhatsApp, and the communication was prompt and always with clear instructions, in English. Keys for the building and your room will be found in a lockbox on the outside of the building, and that was all pretty easy. They will even send you a timelapse video of how to get to the front door from the Riomaggiore train station, but it's super easy, literally straight up the hill a half a block. There are at least 3 restaurants right there at the base of the hill, where you can buy beverages, coffee, get hot food, etc! The location is great, overall. To get to the main street and waterfront in Riomaggiore, you'll walk through a tunnel. The Via Delle Amore trail is also right there! The room itself was as nice as the photos. Essentially new finishes, and very important: the AC worked well!! ๐Ÿ™ Bed was comfortable, furniture is nice, there's a Nespresso machine in the room, too, which like the good AC was greatly appreciated!๐Ÿ™ There is a fridge in the room, and a microwave available in the hallway should you need it. Room had a great view of the Mediterranean, curtains, and even a motorized shutter outside that you can lower. I was able to text the operator for needed daily items, like fresh towels, more nespresso pods and toilet paper around 11:30am when the cleaning lady is there in the building. It was a very comfortable and easy stay! ๐Ÿ›Œ"
