"We had a lovely stay and were very happy with the hotel. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. We were given lots of useful information during check in, which we later made use of. Rooms were very clean and the breakfasts were excellent, with a good variety of food and drinks. An enjoyable stay in a lovely place."

"We had a basic economy room so expectations were not high, but the room was very basic. No fridge/mini-bar, no coffee in room, mattress was bad and pillows terrible. Just a partial ocean view as well. That being said, it was clean and the location was perfect to hit all 5 towns in a day and a half. There was no restaurant and very few choices in town or close by. Breakfast was pretty good each morning. For the price and location I would say it is worth the stay."

"The apartments are quaint and in an amazing location overlooking the small harbour. The room was spotlessly clean and Paolo and Michele could not have been more helpful with their knowledge of all the walking trails etc. Ensure you buy the cinque Terre card from them at a discounted rate"

"The owner is great and makes sure you understand how to get around the village and VERY STEEP hill. It sits at top of village and provides paid parking on site. The is a large parking garage across the street that other hotels use. There are two levels with 4 rooms each with steep step access and outside patio. Buildings are very old (like every other building in the village) but pretty well maintained considering their age. Not fancy but comfortable."

"The room was absolutely very clean. The staff was beyond helpful. The air-conditioning was as cold as you wanted it and the national park and the love walkway was truly amazing."

"Niceapartment. Big and clean. Large terrace with great views over the village towards the sea. Apartment was easy to find and very central in Riomaggiore. Self check-in was easy and comms/instructions from staff were good. Overall was a good place to stay but expected a lot more given the price (e.g. coffee and water were not complimentary which was surprising given how expensive the room was per night. Pictures show plants/greenery around bathtub but this was just an empty trough of soil when we stayed, which was disappointing and not as pictured or described. Cracks in walls and ceiling etc. Bed was creaky.) Note to travellers: The apartment is on the top floor of a very old building. You have to go up 4 or 5 narrow/steep staircases. There is no lift. Not a great place to stay if you have large/heavy luggage or have restricted mobility. The apartment is on one of the main streets above shops, bars and restaurants so was quite noisy in the evening. Central and lively location, but not quiet/peaceful. Jacuzzi bathtub was nice but takes 1 hour+ to fill up. "

"We very much enjoyed our four day. Stay at this unique property. What a great view of the sea in the town. The front desk staff was amazing. Particularly,Loris! She was extremely friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and helpful. She’s a great asset to the ownership of this lodging. We do not hesitate to recommend 5 Pelagos 2 to anyone. Great restaurants, nearby, fabulous food."
