"The staff at this hotel are wonderfully friendly, always happy to help. During my stay there, I did not even realize that there electricity blackout in Johannesburg everyday. The restaurant bar downstairs has a good range of food at a reasonable price with very friendly crews. It gets busy and noisy there during the weekend with a DJ playing good music. That gives a good and convenient option to chill without going to places that may not be safe. However, if loud music is not your thing, just ask during check-in for quiet rooms. The receptionist did get me one of those quiet rooms. I will totally go back there any time I visit Johannesburg and has business to do in Braamfontein."
