"We stayed in Treetops at the Abri Apartments for five nights towards the end of a six week trip to NZ and it was ideal. Set back from the main drag with views out across the water to Russell and an apartment with just about everything you could want set in lovely gardens. Helen was a great host and our stay was really relaxed. If you’re going to Paihia (and it makes a great base for the Bay of Islands) then book this early and enjoy the time there even more. "

"Loved the location. Very quiet with a beautiful view of the bay. Stacey greeted us and was friendly and helpful. Bed was comfy and the room spacious. Everything was perfect. Very close to town, but would probably need a car as it’s quite a steep road up to the apartment. But the view from the room and deck was worth it. Highly recommend."

"This hotel is an older property. The room was clean and comfortable. Parking was right outside our door. The pool was open but too cold (not heated). We had drinks at the bar and the view was incredible. Our bartender was very nice. The hotel is close to shopping and restaurants in Paihia. We ate dinner at Zane Grey’s (disappointing) but breakfast at Paihia Bakery Espresso was very good for coffee and breakfast sandwiches. "
