Apartment was spacious and has everything we needed. Im a very light sleeper so we asked to have an apartment at the back. It was quiet for most of the time. However you can hear the lift. Didn’t bother my children at all just me. Also the apartment above us when they decided to have a shower or bath at midnight it woke me up. But it pipes in an old building. The hotel is run efficiently from reception , through to the restaurant, bar staff, ( particularly Juan !) and the amazing house keeping staff. It was such a pleasure to walk back into our room every day to find it immaculately clean and tidy. "This property is in a good location for accessing the city - but that’s where the good things about this property ends. The property is deceptively appealing - it looks nice from the outside and inside the hallway, but the apartments themselves leave much to be desired. First, the floors are filthy. I had to wash my feet off every night. Second, the bed and the pillow are like sleeping on rocks. "The door was locked when we arrived with no answer to door bell it wasn’t until my husband kept banging on the door till someone came. The accessible room was well fitted and the breakfast was ok. When we checked out there was still no staff around"
"This was a very peaceful and beautifully maintained retreat. Wonderful food, super friendly staff and very comfortable beds. Would highly recommend - wish we could have stayed more than one night."
"Good location, right at trail head, laundry available, quiet, kitchen available, nice place."
"Joan is an excellent host. Whenever you need his help, he is there for you. Great location If you’re exploring Montserrat monastery and the funicle. Excellent rail connection to Barcelona. Enjoyed our stay thoroughly"
