The hotel is clean and remodeled. The problem for me was the outsourced staff. It had a vending machine like feel in the front area with staff outsourced from India and Chile. They will tell you Florida but it’s not true. There are no humans for staff on site. It reminded be by Covid times or the movie last man on earth. I like the human interaction much better. Short of that the hotel was nice clean and looked remodeled.

I wish there was a I wish there was an option to Negative stars but it won’t allow me to post this without at least giving one. While I’m sitting in My moldy dirty filthy room I decided it was imperative for me to write a review. Still experiencing the absolute worst experience of my life it’s beyond a nightmare first of all there’s no one to greet you at the front desk when you check in at night, you have to speak to a person on a screen in Florida….. “Florida” I need two rooms for the night a king size room, and a double in the king size room. All the towels were filthy. They had hair and blood stains all over them. There was hair on the walls in the shower. There were sticky stains all over the nightstands, the tables, the desk, and the chairs in the room was horrific. I was actually afraid to leave my car overnight. The room with the beds had blood and sticky stuff all over the lights, the bedsheets, the towels and the walls there were no blankets and there was blood and Yellow stuff all over the towels in the bathroom although the room was spacious, I felt like I was in a storage unit and someone’s Apartment basement. I noticed that there was an extra lock on the doors for both rooms because it seems that someone tried to kick in the door so the wood panel on the wall next to the doors were split in half. Floors were littered with specs of trash and the entire hotel smells like cigarettes and sewage. the most pleasant and delightful experience of my Stay is packing up t

This place feels like a prison you have to show your id all around to move around. My comfort was destroyed just off that fact then the hot water didn’t work

The water in the hotel has been working, not sure what happened there. Not sure who asked for ID except for the kiosk or if the gm's were checking you in. No one else is here to ask for an ID We will look into that. GM's are on premisis 24/7

Stayed at worse places.
I wasn't sure how to rate service. The hotel is essentially unmanned. I interacted with a kiosk to check in. The hotel looked to be empty (2-3 cars), yet for some reason we were booked into the third floor. Not really a problem when the elevator is working, but it wasn't. The room seemed to be clean-ish, but there were a bunch of dead flies all over the floor and some on the bed. There was a previously used bar of soap stuffed back into its wrapper and on our sink.

This place was awful never have I ever had to check in thru a kiosk and then I had booked thru Hotels.com and paid and they also charged my card again I am still fighting with them to get my money back. Awful and rude people to speak to. Not helpful at all.

The motel is staffed by a kiosk that connects you to someone off-site (?) when you dial the given number. The actual employee was friendly enough but we never saw anyone in person. The lobby also reeked of something I couldn't place-some kind of cleaning product mixture? It was unbearable checking out-I had to hold my breath (no exaggeration) while dropping off the key card. We were also warned repeatedly not to smoke, which we didn't because we are nonsmokers, but the room across from ours smoked so much weed the whole hallway was acrid. Maybe that wouldn't happen if a staff member was on site? Room was ok, sheets were clean. Water pressure was good and the in-room heating unit sufficient once we turned it on and let it run. Too few towels and one had a long dark hair on it.

The room was clean and comfortable. The second floor hallway echoed audibly as I walked on it (and I only weigh 135 lbs). Online reservation was easy. The staff was friendly, but I found it awkward to only be able to communicate with them via video screen rather than a live person at the counter. For check out, I didn't see anyone for a few minutes even after tapping on the screen, but someone eventually appeared. Not having a live person made it hard to understand where my room was in relation to multiple parking lots.

Sorry for your experience. And a non smoking motel. We are a pet friendly motel. We try our best to make sure people don't smoke in the rooms, but we can only do so much. If you had an issue with someone being loud all you needed to do would be to let the kiosk know and they will tell the general managers who are on site 24/7. Thank you

My stay was okay. Until a hour in a half before check out I was rudely awakened with banging on the door telling me I had to leave that I had only paid for one night even though I had a receipt from the front counter that two nights were paid for. They were very rude and insisted that I leave.

Nice and clean property, I thought it's the same last I stayed but this motel 6 was something different. I like the way of check inn, feeling afraid as it was new for me but it was very simple. Kiosk may be or machine. Room was next to my parking, see you soon.

I don't expect a lot from Motel 6 in terms of amenities but I do expect a clean room free of vermin. I ended up killing 6 roaches in 5 minutes, one of which was crawling on my shoe. I saw at least one roach scoot under the bed so I'm sure there were plenty more hiding. I was offered a different room when I went to the kiosk but the problem clearly extended beyond just my room (Room 217 btw). I stayed in the room less than 3 hours, not even undoing the sheets on the bed so I will be expecting a full refund. I'm happy to provide more information including a picture of smashed roach if requested.

I was in town for a softball tournament. I checked in for a 2 night stay at 4 pm Friday September 8th, and left right away for the games. Came back around 9pm and ate my take out. As soon as finished, i looked down at the floor and there were roaches crawling across the floor. I immediately grabbed my belongings and went to the front desk to check out and asked for a refund. I was told that because i didn't report it within 15 minutes of checking in they would NOT issue a refund for the same night I checked in. I demanded a refund and was told by the facility manager that they were going to call the police and have me removed from the property! They offered me a different room right below the room that had the roaches. I refused, telling them that I wasn't going to stay in a hotel that has evidence of a roach infestation, and again demanded a full refund. Was told that they were going to issue me a refund for the 2nd night but refused to issue for the night in question because I didn't report the room as being infested with roaches within 15 minutes of checking in. I NEVER would recommend ANYONE to stay at this motel 6 in Rockford IL

Sorry for the issues you had. Let me inform you that the Motel is sprayed two times a month for pests..... there is NO infestation and that can be proven. Again we are sorry for the issues you had. Every step is being taken to resolve it.

Our second visit, will be our last.
Daughter found stains on her sheets. We were given another room, but she would only sleep on top, not in the bed. Told management this morning and they said I would have a discount next stay. Which means no discount. Does not help that the kiosk for check in at night echoes terribly and is hard to follow check in conversation.

Property was clean. Area around property a little shady. Check-in was a nihhtmare. Seriously, checking in with a person through a machine. The person having a foriegn accent and had to constantly ask her to speak slower, so i could understand what she was staying.
