Banff Rocky Mountain Resort

8/10 Good

"Good location , not in town but very close to Banff. They offer free shuttle to Banff so you don't have to deal with the traffic. Restaurant is OK , staff is helpful, and location is very nice , beautiful view , close to a small lake to sit and relax. The place would need some up dates but room was clean and big enough for 2. Jacuzzi did not work ( the jets), some people soaked in the hot water, but we did not. The water has dirty , we could see "oil flakes" floating in it and sand on the bottom, but over all we liked it and I would recommend this hotel."

Canyon Lodge & Cabins - Inside the Park

8/10 Good

"Canyon Lodge in a nice hotel that's maintained well. But understaffed cleaning crew struggles to clean rooms adequately and turn them over on a timely basis. Expect to wait past checking time to get into your room. Also important to note that WiFi is slow when it works and cell coverage is poor in the area. With no TV bring a book or games. While there are multiple food options in this area, being inside the park you are stuck with what they offer."

Rocky Mountain Ski Lodge

"Great location, dated property but has all the things you need in the room, restaurants, supermarkets, and Everwild Spa are less than five minute drive. Make sure to book early for better rates. Book the one bedroom loft if your party is 6+, there’s a lot of space and room comes with a full kitchen, microwave, full-sized fridge, as well as a fireplace and little outdoor area overlooking the mountain. Definitely a good option if you can book early."

"We had a great stay at the Hotel Colorado. The rooms were exceptionally clean and roomy (double Queen & King). The Hot Springs resort next door, while not included with your stay is walking distance and we enjoyed it! Amy at the front desk was super helpful! We hope to visit again when we return to Colorado."

If you're planning a trip to Banff, I recommend staying here, especially considering its proximity to the town - just 15 minutes away. Don't forget to book your room well in advance to secure a great view at a fantastic price."
