Samaras Hotel
Funky classic mid-century modern hotel. Clean. Decent breakfast. Central. Would recommend. The town of Lamia was an unexpected delay: I just stayed here as the nearest place to Thermopylae, but it is an engaging and lively town with lots of good restaurants and pubs.

Mitsis Galini
Room was nice although the toilet seat was very cheap. Staff was very friendly. Food was cafeteria style and very crowded in dining room. Definitely seemed like a family oriented place with lots of children. We actually didn't feel great after the breakfast. Nothing bad.

I've never received a warmer welcome in all of my travels. Julia (Ιουλία) was kind, helpful, and made sure we were as comfortable as possible.
