"Great apartment and location centrally located in Madrid. A better option than getting 2 hotel rooms in my opinion. Hosts are very responsive and i will be happy to stay here again when i visit Madrid. Great cafe for breakfast/lunch right across the street too."

Her breakfast included dozens of options for food and she even took orders from a menu, which she then immediately cooks, such as different kinds of crepes. They were wonderful. She is also a very caring person and seems to love what she does for her guests.The location is also just off the main shopping and tourist area. "To be fair, I only stayed at The Palace Catania for one night, but the experience was a bit disappointing for the price. At $300 per night, the hotel feels quite dated and the rooms are badly in need of a renovation. On the positive side, the location is excellent, the rooftop views are lovely, and the front desk staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We did experience a major service lag at the rooftop bar, waiting over 20 minutes for a glass of prosecco, though the waiter was very apologetic and kindly comped our friends' two glasses of wine. Overall, it’s a well-located hotel with great customer service, but it definitely needs some TLC to justify the premium cost."
