While this historical apartment was very cool with its history and charming architecture, it lacked in several other areas. The bathroom was riddled with black mold, which ended up giving us all quite an issue with breathing and sores on our tonsils by the end of our stay. We did reach out to the host and he came and did a small cleaning of some places, but it was not enough to fix the problem before our 4 day stay had ended. We also had bought a large amount of sweets, which were in a box, in a bag on the counter, and they ended up riddled with ants overnight and had to be tossed. Had we been forewarned of this problem, we would have stored things in the fridge instead. The host was super friendly, and had the mold not smelled/caused so many problems, this would be a very charming stay. The neighbors were friendly and the area was incredible. Close enough to walk to most places including the artists bridge where lively music was played each night.
