The problem you mentioning about is a problem of most of the guesthouses and hotel in the world,it never happened with us though If you would like a place with a private entrance , we suggest you for the next time to look for an apartment, unfortunately,being a guesthouse we can't really change this fact,and , it did not really bothered any of the guests in the past We hope , so, that this "little problem" didn't ruin your stay and hope to see you again in the future Kind regards

Dear Andrew , Thanks for your review anyway we would really like to talk about it. Your check-in was on the day of May 1 (workers national day) and you did advice, not with the right notice, that your arrival time was very later than our reception closing hour explained on the syte. We tried in all the ways to make a check-in in person , but, clearly, it was not easy to find a person to be in the evening on that day to make the check-in in person We still managed to stay up until that time to open the door and didn't let you lose your first night. We would just like to point out that we have never advertised our place as Hotel in all our pages. We are a small Guest House with five (5) rooms located in a classic building in the beautiful neighborhood of Trastevere. During check-in, we always explain how to open the gate and doors of our structure with all the keys provided. And in case of any problem, we encourage our guests to contact us, thus we can open the gate or room doors anytime remotely, or for any type of emergencies.
