"The location was superb as it was literally a minute walk from the Grindewald station, and it's on the quieter side of the town. Staff were excellent, professional, helpful with advice. The breakfast was superb with a great variety and plenty of comfortable seating. The main issue was the hair found on blankets and in bathtub (photos taken, clearly not mine as I found them on arrival), there was also a red stain on one of the face washers/towels. "Our stay in Grindelwald was absolutely amazing! The mountain views from the hotel were breathtaking and truly felt like something out of a postcard. Waking up each morning to the stunning Swiss Alps right outside our window was unforgettable. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the First Cliff Walk gondola, making it easy to enjoy one of the area’s most spectacular attractions. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, providing the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The entire experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Between the incredible scenery, convenient location, and comfortable accommodations, this hotel made our time in Grindelwald even more special. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area and would love to stay here again!"

"The shuttle is very helpful. Today the superstar was the bellman/concierge! He helped with sightseeing and later with our luggage and transportation to the train station. I wish I knew his name because he was outstanding and full of hospitality! June 2, 2026 14:00 hrs."

"I paid extra ($600 a night) for a room with a balcony and a view of the valley and alps. When I arrived I was given a room on the back with a tree in front of the window. When I showed my reservation, I felt the manager blamed me for not contacting the hotel and saying Expedia/hotel.com didn’t show this on the reservation. We did end up getting a two bedroom suite with a balcony. It was large, very nice shower. However, the carpets were very stained as was the couch. The balcony had cigarette butts on it and a piece of broken glass. The place needs an upgrade for sure. I was disappointed for the price. Breakfast was excellent except on Sunday. Seemed they ran out of things by 9 and did not replace. Breakfast did not end until 10. Overall, I would not recommend for the price"

"The room was clean, the property was quiet, the food at breakfast was delicious. Our view was good. There was a small issue with the elevator, but staff got it working very quickly. Unfortunately, the hot tub and spa area were under renovation and there was no indication on the website. I chose this hotel because it had a hot tub, so that was a disappointment."
