"Great location, and staff were very helpful. Excellent secure parking. We enjoyed breakfast - the porridge and cinnamon toast were excellent. The menu offered a wide choice. Bed was comfy, but we were there in a hot spell of weather, and there was no air con in the room. The fan in the room did help a little, but it was still very warm for sleeping. The room could have been cleaner however. We had a room which had a bath, shower and vanity unit in the bedroom with a separate toilet. The edges of the floor of the toilet were not clean, and the top of the skirting was laden with dust."
"Great value, convenient location and a great stay again. The restaurant accross the car park is good value and tasty food and high power EV charging on the same site. Will stay again"
"The staff were brilliant, friendly, helpful and polite.
The position of the hotel was excellent for exploring the area.
The room size was fine and the amenities good. What the room needed was air conditioning, I realise it is extreme heat and a fan was provided but I believe it was way too hot and oppressive. The water system was ropey and waiting for the water to arrive and the bathroom in general needed updating.
However the room was clean."
"Outstanding staff with great personalities throughout the hotel. Willing to help and made our stay extremely enjoyable. Collectively, probably the best hotel staff I have had the pleasure to meet. The hotel was clean, comfortable and had all the facilities you could need. Had a lovely swim and used the steam room, that was enjoyable. Enjoyed our 2 course meal and after dinner drinks. The only downside is the continuation of the franchise to charge for parking. The room was well presented, clean and comfortable. Have stayed in its sister hotel in Wolvercote and this was the reason I booked for our group of 4, as that was a great experience also. I recommend both hotels and woukd definitely stay again."
