"We have been to this hotel before and returned as we love it. The pool, steam room and sauna is beautiful. We had a meal at the hotel also and it was delicious. Live music was brilliant. We got a nice surprise in our room as it was our anniversary and we had a lovely goodie bag. Service was fantastic. Cannot fault this hotel at all and we will certainly be back again soon."

"Beautiful large hotel with easy reach to Sligo town. It was previously a lockdown mental Institution but the clayton has turned it into a 4-star hotel with a restaurant and, spa and indoor pool. The only downside was that when we arrived in the room, the next room had young teenage kids playing football, and the noise was very off-putting as the ball smashed up against the wall. So we immediately went down to Reception and asked if we could be moved. The receptionist apologised and gave us another room, but when we got to it, it also had very young kids next door. We didn't go and complain as we knew they would eventually go to sleep, and they did, and we never heard from them again. The breakfast was good and warm, and the service was good. The staff were all very friendly"
