"The building itself is beautiful and very old however the apartments are not just dated they are damaged, they are filthy, not just cobwebs, but the sofas are full of crumbs and grime, the pillows are rocks and you cannot move in the beds for creaking they are that old. Sheets clean but stained and stitching all coming away. I have stayed in excellent dog friendly accommodation all over France and Spain so that cannot be the excuse. "All over it was a good property to stay with my family. Living room is bit packed with dining table and chairs. There wasn't any tea bags/coffee or suger, luckily there is a shop 1 min walk managed to buy some. First time we used the cooker spider came out from cooker hood. Wasn't the best experience but it was funny."

"Stayed for 4 nights in this gorgeous cottage. Traditional looking but with modern facilities. Well stocked kitchen with a large fridge. The village is quiet & peaceful just outside of Keswick. The real bonus is the private garden with comfy sofas. Parking is tight but we did have a wide car & it was nice to have it on the driveway. Good communication and able to self check in. "
