"The property is in a great location right next to the Ribeira in 2 old converted properties. The staff was always friendly and helpful. We had breakfast the last day and are we sorry because the buffet breakfast was plentiful with many possibilities. If we had tried it on the first day, we would have eaten there more often. Being an old converted property, getting around was a maze. The rooms are very small. It's all right for two persons but we were 3 and it was a tight squeeze although the extra bed had a very comfortable and deep mattress."

"Solo travel for 2 nights and saw Yotel as part of a good priced package. Very close to the station and some of the key attractions e.g. Balhao market / chapel of souls. Roughly 20 minutes walk to the historic centre. The hotel overall had a good size hotel room and presentation. The room I had wasn't amongst any noise and just heard the odd conversation. The traffic from outside was kept to a minimal only when the window is closed. The gym was a big win with good options at the breakfast buffet. Wifi was fast and the kiosk check in did cut down my waiting time significantly. The feedback I would give is simply a system refresh tech wise and a touch up on the interior. Due to the layout of the shower the flooring did show some wear as the water will spill over depending how you position yourself despite placing a towel on the floor. The AC system wasn't working either. As noted with previous reviews, the fridge isn't cold enough to keep things cool and can imagine this being a major issue in the hotter months. On the breakfast buffet side, I would have liked to see it replenished as I arrived at 9:20am and noticed service was starting to closing up when it was only hitting 10am with service running until 10:30am. On the whole I would return to Yotel as it ticked all my boxes for a solo travel."

"My experience at this hotel was excellent. I was honestly so pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the hotel was and by the amazing amenities it offers. Unfortunately, due to our itinerary, we didn’t have the chance to use the sauna or try the restaurant, but I have no doubt they are excellent as well. Our room was spotless, spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. The location is also fantastic close to everything and right on an avenue with plenty of shops, restaurants, and options for dining, which made our stay even more convenient. I especially want to highlight how incredibly friendly and welcoming the staff was. Everyone at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful. Even on the day we checked out, very early in the morning, the security gentleman waited outside with us until our Uber arrived. He was so courteous and kind, and that small gesture really made an impression on us. Everything about our stay was wonderful, and I would absolutely recommend this hotel. We really enjoyed our stay in Porto and would happily stay here again!"

"We had a great stay at Cenica the Curio Collection in Porto! The staff were super friendly and helpful and the location was great; walkable to the historic district and some great restaurants literally across the street. The last morning we had the breakfast buffet at the hotel and it was LOVELY! So many great options, wonderful staff who make great cappuccinos, and delicious food. One odd thing was that you are unable to control the thermostat in the room. So if you like to sleep with a very cold room, you have to call down to the front desk and they adjust the temperature of the room for you. We had never encountered that before. But when asked, they did do it and the temperature was fine for sleeping! The bed was comfortable, the gym is a bit small for a mainstream hotel, but the equipment was good. All in all, we had a wonderful stay!"

"Central location - within 10-15 mins you are by the river, and just a few minutes away from the famed Lello library and Sao Bento station . It is steps away from the Aliados metro - which is great if you are taking transit to/from the airport. The room was clean and quiet which I appreciate. I like that it is located away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist area. Would happily stay here again."
