Clean and well located hotel near Zurich airport

"A hotel conveniently located 5 minutes from Zurich Airport. Facilities are well maintained. People at front desk are very nice and helpful. We had some issues with our lugage and they gave us dental kits. We could not use the airport shuttle because a delay on our flight (shuttle runs until 23:10 and we arrived at 23:30), bit we called the front desk and they gave us indications on how to use public transport to reach the hotel."

"Customer Service was phenomenal! My wife and I were we checked in by Lea and she was the absolute sweetest. She made me feel so taken care of. She conveniently was also the same person to check my wife and I out and remembered the details of what our next couple days were going to be and wished us the best. Seems so minor but her remembering really made our morning and thats something I will remember. Thanks again Lea!!! "

"This property was conveniently located near ZHR airport (approx. 10 min. by taxi) and the Kloten train station (less than a 5 min. walk). I imagine caters more to business travelers than tourists. Hence, the surrounding neighborhood wasn't exactly what you would call picturesque. The view from the rear of the hotel inside its restaurant was of railroad tracks and an old industrial building. Nonetheless, the hotel itself, its restaurant, its staff, and its other amenities, along with its spacious modernly furnished rooms provided a most comfortable and enjoyable stay for me and my wife. If you don't want to pay for more expensive hotels in Zurich's city center and don't mind taking a 15 min. train ride or a 20 min. taxi to get there, then I would highly recommend Hotel Allegra Lodge."

"The hotel is conveniently connected to the airport so we had easy access to the train station, restaurants and shopping. This was the first time I was able to take advantage of my Platinum status with Hotels.com and get a room upgrade. We were unable to access the guest WiFi in our room (6th floor) so receptionist gave us “their” secured WiFi. This was not much better. We requested another room and were given one on the 6th floor. "
