"The hotel was meh. I read a lot of the reviews about the hotel before I booked it and they were mostly negative, however for the price I’d say it probably lives up to it, maybe a tad expensive. This is not a luxury hotel but it doesn’t advertise being one either so I don’t know what you expect. If all you need is a bed to sleep and a shower this will do fine, however sleeping was a nightmare due to the heat. We had a fan in the room that did next to nothing, so we had some sleepless nights...

"My stay at Hostal Talamanca was okay. The washroom had hair all over it so I am not giving full stars for cleanliness although it was overall - good for what you pay for.
