Charges to my bill b/c a sensor in the room was triggered when a beverage or snack from the minibar was moved is a great way to generate revenue without an expense. Thankfully I looked at my bill and remove ~$100 in charges. There were smells like a gas station bathroom in different areas of the hotel. Not everywhere, but I'm guessing it's related to the suffering sewage/utilities in downtown NOLA. Upon arrival the valet didn't even offer to help with bags. Not a big deal for me, but an offer would have been appreciated and shown a level of service appropriate for a Waldorf Astoria property."
