"If you like antique collections, they got some exotic items. The front office people are very nice, courteous, and very engaging. The restaurant upstairs is decent. I didn't want to step out for dinner after a hectic sightseeing day and the upstairs restaurant came to the rescue. I will say you will get more bang for the buck. "

"Run down hotel. Furniture really old in the room and bathroom fixtures really old. Somewhat clean. Otherwise adequate. Located within a fifteen minute walk from the fateh sagar lake area if you wanted to head out there for street food after a day of sight seeing. All other sights, need to take a cab or something into the old city, easy enough to do."

"We had booked The Artist House for 16–17 August, but upon arrival, the hotel manager informed us that there was no booking under my name. We immediately contacted Expedia, and your team provided an alternative hotel option, Traavista Surya Mahal, and booked it for us. However, when we reached the given location, the property turned out to be The Castle Mewar, not Traavista Surya Mahal. The staff there told us that no such hotel exists in Udaipur, and local residents also confirmed the same. We spent the entire day with our 3-year-old child trying to locate this hotel, but no one had ever heard of it. On further inspection, we realized that the property shown on Expedia under the name “Traavista Surya Mahal” was actually The Castle Mewar, with the same photos but under a fake name. This clearly indicates a fraudulent listing on your platform. The experience caused us immense mental stress and suffering, and we lost around ₹25,000. We also learned that other families faced similar issues with the same property. We request you to urgently investigate this fraud, remove the fake listing, and provide us with a full refund at the earliest.

"Noisy nights during marriage seasons so would recommend not to stay during Indian marriage seasons. Too noisy especially near the lake rooms as event management works overnight to prepare stages and mandap. Staff at service desk are Junior ladies with not authority or capability to make any change.
