"Beautiful spot on the cliff over the Indian Ocean on the south coast of Mauritius. About 40 minutes from the airport, including the track through the sugar cane plantation. Quiet except for the continuous roaring of the sea and the waterfall. Wonderful staff, friendly and courteous. In particular the chief chef who made fascinating meals in local style. "Amazing location at one of the most beautiful beaches we have witnessed during our vacation in Mauritius. The hotel complex is very pretty and well designed (pools, bars, ...). Despite the 5* rating of the hotel the rooms are rather outdated and could more well maintained (e.g., light switches, doors, old A/C, ..). The effort/extras the hotel provided during our honeymoon were amazing and stood out from other hotels. "

"We had the absolute pleasure of getting married at Lux Le Morne, and it was truly one of the best experiences of our lives. Travelling to Mauritius to get married just the two of us felt like a big step, and we were initially a little nervous about whether we’d chosen the right place. But we didn’t need to worry. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel completely at ease and supported us every step of the way. A special thank you to Manie, Hermant, and Bianca from Celebration Corner. They were outstanding. Every detail had been thought through with such care, and their warmth and professionalism made the whole experience feel effortless and personal. Hermant’s photography skills are second to none. He captured our day so naturally and beautifully, and gave us memories we’ll treasure forever. One of the standout moments was our private wedding meal in the treehouse on the beach. The setting was magical, and it was made even more special by our brilliant waiter, Neelesh, whose friendly and attentive service made the evening unforgettable. We genuinely loved every minute of our time at Lux Le Morne. It’s a place full of beauty, calm, and heart, and we’ll always look back on it with the happiest of memories."

Hotel Riu Palace Mauritius - All Inclusive - Adults Only

"Beautiful hotel in Le Morne. Building is new and in very good condition. The staff was amazing every time, from checkin to breakfast, lunch, dinner and bar service. Pools are nice and there are plenty of sunbeds around, in case the ocean is not welcoming. Food was very good, with plenty of choices. The RIU app is not the best, but that’s not something this hotel can fix. "

"We had mobility scooters and this hotel was easy and very accommodating for guests needing help or additional needs. The hotel might improve food services as there did not seem to be alternate choices in close vicinity although for our short stay it was adequate and the happy hour and breakfast met our needs."

"A beautiful quiet location, we were able to relax which was the purpose of our trip. Staff were amazing, friendly and did everything they could for you. Pools were kept clean and plenty of loungers there and on the beach. Only negative is price of taxis to get anywhere but that is no reflection on the hotel. Would highly recommend "

"Absolutely beautiful jungle like lication of small property in the grounds of a stunning Chateau , that edges the Heritage golf course. The room was huge, with a comfortable bed and lush pillows. Bathroom lovely, huge shower. We took a walk around the grounds of the chateau, which was so swrene and beautiful. There was a member of staff from the hotel, who was making fishing rods from bamboo. He gave one to. Restaurant on site, mid range pricee and food. Staff lovely. Look out for the giant snails with the pretty shells and the frogs on the little paths at night! A magical place. Beautiful onsite pool too. Ample free parki g. We would stay again. Beautiful service and fab A/C in room too.me and zi caught a huge fish!. "
