"Good stay, was there just two nights"

"We were on a cycle tour and we left our bikes locked up safely in the entrance way. Our room was very comfortable, we stayed in the Curiosities room. The hotel is in a characterful building and is thoughtfully decorated with great attention to detail. It was a shared bathroom, which we actually had to ourselves, again nicely decorated and clean. "It was clean and the staff were pleasant and excellent value...we never tried the cafe but will try next time."

"A lovely lady and a lovely room, a luxurious dinner and breakfast venue, a large garden and chickens"

"Wonderful staff, nice room (a bit noisy from neighbours though), excellent breakfast. The proximity to the Charante river was amazing, but the area was also a bit rough. I also very kind support from the lady in the reception when I had an accident. So all-in-all a great place to stay!"

"Location was perfect and check in and parking we're easy. It's an old building which has been tastefully decorated. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Great shower. Would have liked and egg with breakfast. "

"Very comfortable room with very pleasant hosts. We will return here next year :)"
